BiMRC Web Log (BLOG) Strategy ...

Over the past 2 years BiMRC has been experimenting with a growing, new technology; one at the very heart of the web's basic philosophy:

"...to empower users and other developers, and make it easy for users who want to, to become developers." [Dave Winer 8.13.01].

That technology is called a 'Web Log'. Or as it more commonly known, 'a blog'; by its verb/adjetive phase: blogging.

Blogging has come from the shadows of obscurity to begin a rise into what many have forecast to the the 'next big thing' on the Internet. For a certainty, when the masses are given a powerful tool - an impact of major proportions cannot be far behind. 'Blogging' is just such a tool.

BiMRC, in its search for new, powerful Tools for Technologically Enhanced Educational Environments [ T40 ] began working with and developing an education blog strategy some months ago.

We are currently in the experimental phase of developing a daily news-feed blog made up of the two ( 2 specific areas of expertise, content, research and application of BiMRC. Other RSS feed subscriptions will provide additional news and information.

Stay tuned. This is an amazing tool. We see it opening numerous opportunities for collaboration and personal journalistic ventures: not to mention education in a whole new light.
